WEEKLY TUTORING SESSIONS

Tutoring sessions are automatically deducted every week through your preferred debit or credit card.

You can switch anytime to the Academic Advancer Package for added flexibility.

ACADEMIC ADVANCER PACKAGE (10 LESSON):

Our Pre-VCE, VCE, SES and IB packages offer convenience with automatic renewal when your balance falls below 2 hours. Each new package generates an invoice.

You can switch anytime to weekly payments before renewal for added flexibility, which will start once your current package ends.

RESCHEDULING OF SESSIONS

To change the date or cancel a session, please make changes via our scheduling platform and contact your tutor directly. This should be done at least 12-hours BEFORE the scheduled session. Please note that a $45 cancellation fee will be applicable, if tutoring sessions are cancelled with less than 12-hour notice

This policy applies to both our Weekly Tutoring Option and the Academic Advancer Package Option.

DISCONTINUATION OF TUTORING

Cancel all upcoming lessons with at least providing a 12-hour notice (or charges may apply) and contact your tutor directly. Then, notify us by emailing at hello@ascendiaacademy.com.au.

REFUNDING OF ACADEMIC ADVANCER PACKAGE

All unused balance will be refunded, minus the price of 1 hour of your session fees. For example:

Olivia purchased a 10-Hour Package for a group of 2 students, priced at $600 under our Elite Tutor Program. She has utilised 7 hours, leaving 3 hours unused. Now, if Olivia decides to terminate her tutoring package and request a refund, Ascendia Academy will review her current Package as follows:

  • Charge $420 (Group of 2 students: $60/hour) for the 7 hours used.

  • Charge $45 for administrative costs.

  • Refund the remainder of the Package:

    • $600 (total price) - $420 (used hours) - $45 (admin costs) = $135 (refund)

It's important to note that all refunds will be processed at the end of our weekly billing cycle. After processing, it may take 3-10 business days for the refund amount to be credited back to your account.
